The Story of my Life
It all started sometime
in the 90s on the 9th of November, when a newly married couple Mr.
& Mrs. Ayodele Anifowose were blessed with a bouncing baby boy
(Tunde), it was a great time for them having their first kid as a boy. Then the
naming ceremony day was on point, you trust Yoruba people now, enough Amala, Ewedu
ati Gbegiri, rice and other delicacies to many to be mentioned fa, the child
was named and life continue. As the first child growing up was cool and
awesome, everything was in place and life was sweet to my little understanding
back then. To cut the long story short, I later had two younger once a boy
(Seyi) and a girl (Ajoke). So the family was awesome with three kids.
Demise of the Head of family (April, 2001) In the year 2001
my dad was very ill, we all think he’s going to die immediately, from one
hospital to another and there was no solution because they couldn’t detect the
cause of his illness maybe due to our epileptic medical system. Until April
2001 when Dad unfortunately passed away, although I was still young but I knew
we have lost the Hero of the house. Many things has changed, things weren’t
going the way it was like when Dad was alive, mum was always crying, we had to
change school to less expensive one, it was a case
of from grace to grass for the family. A woman that I will forever be
grateful to all through this dark moment was my Grandmother, she’s indeed a
woman of unlimited worth, May Allah continue to bless her for me, she was
always there for us and played uncountable roles in making us be who we are
today. My family is awesome my Mother who is my Number One Hero, I can’t stop
loving you mum and my siblings, Seyi and Ajoke Anifowose, I love you and may
God spare our lives with good health and prosperity so we can make the world a
better place for mum and our helpers.
Some days after my birthday in 2014, on the 20th
of November, we all woke up to a sad story of my mum’s demise from this World.
This woman is just the BEST and SUPER Mum one can ever have, she was also ill and
was even admitted at the hospital receiving treatments when Allah called it the
end, she passed away in the early hours of the morning. I felt really bad and
sad inside of me because I thought and I knew life had no meaning without my
Parents. I was felt with my siblings and my family members, I just couldn’t
think straight but my attention was quickly drawn to a verse in the Holy Quran
which reads “Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi
Rajioun: From Him We Come & To Him We Return” I want to say
ALHAMDULLILAH on this day for the Blessing and success that Allah has bestowed
upon me and my family over the years. We are really grateful to Him alone.
I am so passionate about the Sustainable Development Goal s
of the United Nations and am more connected to Global Goal 3 (Good Health and
Well-Being) this passion came into limelight after my parents both lose their
lives to ill health. I believe every citizen should have a right to quality and
reliable health care. I hope to start up a group which will be saddle with the
responsibility to enable and create awareness on having access to quality
health care and even provision of Primary Health care centers in our various
wards.

The
whole years will be not enough to mention the pains and sorrow mother and the
children went through to survive, I can’t start calling names but significant
people have played important roles in my life and that of the family but permit
me to hail and praise my Biggest Daddy Chief
Sen. S.S Ajibola (Jagunmolu of Ekiti Land) and His Family for their unrelenting support since day 1 to me and my
family, my Grandmother for her love,
care & understanding and all my Aunts and Uncles, my caring Aunt (Mrs H.F Fatope). May Allah
bless and continue to strengthen you all abundantly for me and the family. I
also want to use this medium to thank every single person who played or
contributed to making me who I am TODAY, May Almighty Allah bless and grant you
all your various hearts desires and forgive our various shortcomings in life. I
also ask Allah to forgive our departed loved once and grant them rest in their
grave and Aljannatul Firduas.
I have found love in this World, from the Organization that has helped shaped me to be a better ME, AIESEC and the people who show me love. I appreciate everyone of you. I might not have been where I am today if not for God's uniqueness in sending everyone of you to be a part of my life. Thank you all.
Today is the day to Glorify Allah for his Blessings
on me and my family, despite all the challenges and hard times we have gone
through, we are still alive and leaving fine to the Glory of The Most Merciful
God. I also want us to know that no matter the circumstances we are going
through in life, it’s all a matter of time and our sorrows will become story.
